We do not directly collect personally identifiable information from users, except for the data voluntarily provided through the contact form available on the Contact page.

The data collected via the contact form is used exclusively to respond to received inquiries and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

Earlier this month I created the Lemondrop typeface and the font font family, which is licensed "free for personal use." Commercial use of the Lemondrop font family requires a donation.

The download contains a "readme.txt," with the specific terms of use along with four Windows TrueType™ font files; Lemondrop (Regular), Lemondrop Italic, Lemondrop Bold, and Lemondrop Bold Italic.




The design of the typeface combines art-deco with contemporary styles. Geometric lettering and contrasting widths lend Lemondrop a very "retro," aesthetic while the rounding of corners and large lowercase, for example, update the look.

The capital letters within the Lemondrop font represent traditional uppercase characters, while the lowercase characters, letters a, e, i, j, m, and n (respectively), depict a lowercase equivalent in the same demention of the uppercase. Display text can be both playful when used typically, as well as business-like and more professional by using the font in all-caps.

Regular, Italic, Bold and Bold Italic weights each contain 386 glyphs, including many accents and special characters.

The actual blog and entries are again view-able and accessible. Before coming to the present configuration, I had almost come to terms with 'nixing' the blog aspect altogether.

Initially, my primary focus was on creating my portfolio. After doing so, I wasn't sure if Pixel-Vixen necessitated an actual blog, nor where and how I was to fit in the blog.

Without a solution to the placement issues, the blog aspect was not included in the design and remained inaccessible. I wasn't completely comfortable with the idea of 'nixing' the blog completely, seeking an alternative solution remained on my agenda.

I was able to come to the current configuration thanks to the help I found on the Blogger Help Forum, The Real Blogger Status, and Blogger-Hints-and-Tips. Utilizing labels to 'index,' posts, the blog entries are now accessible for public viewing: http://pixel-vixen.com/search/label/

The ground-work for placement within Pixel-Vixen's main design laid out, it wont be long for it to be fully implemented and included.

Pixel-Vixen is now and always a work-in-progress. I am so very honored for this site being featured on blogs and design galleries. It never gets old! I would like to thank all of the blogs and galleries that have featured Pixel-Vixen.

Just an update on a new addition/change to the site. In the "About" section, I have added an on-hover pop-up image preview of my LT Oksana font. Now when the mouse is placed over the words "LT Oksana," an image will pop-up with a preview of the font's character map as a tool tip.



I have some new additions coming soon in the "Portfolio," section, including one new design under "Web," and several new illustrations. So stay tuned.

I decided that now would be a good time to put an 'official' word out on Pixel-Vixen. Being that it's been, oh about six months since it's debut, I would be hard pressed to justify any further procrastination.

So, what's the word? Well, Pixel-Vixen is home to my online portfolio of personal as well as professional design projects. After some internal debating, I chose to give my portfolio the title "Pixel-Vixen," with the hyphen because the hyphen in the domain name is already such a hassle and faux pas, I hope that it might give way to making the hyphenated URL handicap less significant.

At present Pixel-Vixen is just about ready for prying eyes, and as a matter of fact this is 'version 2' of the portfolio's design. I am of course quite fond of it myself so I really think the design will be here to stay for a while. Unfortunately it also (at the time of posting) lacks some niceties and support for IE viewing, but I do plan on adding some of that as well.

Clouds and postcards have been done before yes, but what can I say. They look nice don't they. Besides, I live in Las Vegas, I don't get to see clouds that often. So in my virtual reality we get to see clouds. And a yellow sky with purple mountains majesty.

The postcard contact form is totally nonsensical, this I know. For starters, I have already "filled in" the traditional writing portion (on the left) with text, and it's already postmarked. But the message (pun!) is conveyed, and again, it looks nice.

I'll be posting more on my entire design process, thoughts and reasoning behind Pixel-Vixen here shortly. So keep your eyes peeled. Till then, give your life a listen and stay tuned.
